ANNERLEY – DATES IN BRIEF!
February …
Saturday 6th – Waitangi Day – A New Zealand holiday that commerates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. Our classes use this occasion to develop our owen treaties for the year setting expectations of how we will work with each other.
Friday 12th – Chinese New Year – celebrate the Year of the Ox with us by learning about the Chinese culture.
Tuesday 16th – Shrove Tuesday – also know as Pancake Day is a day preceding Ash Wednesday (first day of lent), and in Australia we celebrate with a special pancake morning tea.
